GW Plastics presented Quality First Award by Takata Seat Belt,
Inc.
Bethel, Vt. - June 22, 2005 - GW Plastics, Inc., one of North America's most advanced injection molders and provider of precision
tooling, components and assemblies, announced it has been selected
as this year's sole recipient of the Takata Seat Belt, Inc. (TSBI)
Quality First Award. Takata is a leading global manufacturer of
automotive safety systems and is the world's largest manufacturer of
safety belts.
According to Steve Russell, Takata Seat Belt, Inc. director of
quality, GW Plastics was presented the award for "their continuous
commitment to providing high-quality precision molded components.
Over the past year they have improved their quality performance in
excess of 60 percent in every category. They have achieved this
improvement by being a leader in innovation while implementing new
technology to meet our quality objectives."
