GW takes a proactive approach to quality in five key areas:

Process control: GW achieves process control through adherence to robust tooling standards, rigorous IQ/OQ/PQ validations, and an industry-leading approach to scientific molding (GW/SM™). Extensive automation further drives our processes to achieve Six Sigma quality levels

Global Standardization: GW has implemented a comprehensive plant and equipment standardization program – across all six of its global locations – to help reduce process variation and improve quality. GW’s web-enabled Quality Management System further drives standardization of key QMS components such as auditing, CAPA, document control, and Continuous Improvement.

Investment in technology: As a privately held company, GW manages its business for the long-term and has consistently invested in quality-critical technology to improve process stability and quality.

Workforce training & development: GW invests heavily in both salaried and hourly workforce training with a focus on quality to ensure its associates are trained in the latest technology, customer requirements and manufacturing techniques.

Disciplined Problem Solving: GW utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving, where cross-functional teams utilize tools such as FMEA, DOE, mistake proofing, 8D and Ishikawa diagrams to discover effective solutions.
